I am kind of dying to try the game out... but not sure if it is worth it or not. The graphics look intense! I am only asking to see if we can get us all to try it and see....

don't know maybe, just seems like AC is dying off, not much for questing and much of the server is very exclusive to outside folks

I noticed that too .. though Adonnis has several friends "out there."
I have been very bored with AC, and though I don't plan on leaving at this exact moment .. the boring part leaves me not logging in hardly at all anymore. Not logging in ... paying for a game I am not really playing .. I am sure I am headed in a direction that isn't going to be fun.
Although LOTRO sounds somewhat interesting, I have spoken to several people who say it isn't worth it. It's expensive, and there are a lot of annoying issues with the game. So never say never .. but perhaps down the road when they have the annoying issues worked out and they lower the price, I might consider it. Right now, it's a definite no. :/

yah i know they are definitely over priced for what they offer, but I think of it like this. If i stop my 2 accounts and get one Lotro account that is cheeper for me...and if i start now i create a toon that is high level and i apart of the original stuff like when AC first started. the "pre-patch" collection of stuff is nice and very good when your toons are very high level.
I am still undecided as I still like my toons in AC and what they are able to do, but the comradery in AC is just annoying and there are so many folks that just don't play to have fun, they play to be way to serious, as if that little Jpeg your looking at in the game really has monetary value....
like you I am undecided at this point but still sticking with AC

Yep that is where I am. But to be honest, there isn't a single online game out there that people aren't "way to serious" about.
A classic example of exactly what you are saying .. people taking it way too serious - To be honest, after that one jerk did to me what he did when I blew up one of his weapons, things have never been the same for me in AC. That really hit me hard, and I pretty much instantly didn't want to play any more. I have never bounced back from it. I literally stopped loving the game that very minute.

I will add that there were plenty of people here to keep me interested in the game, even if my love for it lost its spark. But like Kehndal pointed out, it's dwindling down. Sad ...

Any predictions where AC is headed? I hate to say it but Dead. I truly apologize for my long absence. As many of you seen in my post a few weeks ago I got a new job ;D. Well with that job came long hours<avg 55 a week> which cut my gaming time for everything majorly! I have already quit Call of Duty . Now firstly I'm not unsubbing my AC account, but I cant lie I am looking for a better game. AC has been {/e plays violin in background ;Drofl} in my life since 2000 and a great game, but AC is dieing and I hate to say it but very quickly. I personally think adding Ninjas to highest exp grounds was dumbest thing turbine could have done. That cut my gaming time soon as they did that. I got a new Computer a few weeks ago<with Vista, and if you are alittle computer literate I actually like it 10 times better than XP. This comp has dual core processors 5000+ at 2.6ghz each, better graphics card, 500GB hard-drive and 2048MB memory...Just a uh little better than my other rofl. Plus the 19" wide LCD monitor is nice ;D. yeah I know no reason to go into detail but I love the comp lol. Saying all that, I now have the capability to check other games out. My dad bought Guild Wars<no monthly fees> he never played it rofl, and let me try it. I have I guess 10-12 gaming hours on it{In past 3 weeks<yes time been cut that short lol >} and It's pretty kewl. Gaming style reminded me alot of LoTRo{I was in the 2 week beta if you didn't know that rofl} Broken Bow plays LoTRo so I have thought about it. He told me that yes someone could power level all there charas to max in about 6 months, but if you did all the aspects for a chara it would take 6 months or so per character. So my AC days aren't over but sadly I believe they are being numbered . AC has lost so many great players in the past year. As stated before I love AC but after 2 charas maxed there isnt really much left to do Please do not be mad at me if I decide to leave, I have loved the people that I have played the game with and they/you guys are the reason I have kept playing. But if I decide to leave you guys will get my stuff. And if all were ok with it I would probably swear to Kehndal, if everyone was ok with that.

Nobody could be mad at you with an explaination of why. It's the long abscence without checking in or letting anyone know what's going on that got frustrating for me, at least. So thank you for explaining it all, now.
I have a suggestion ... and you don't have to take it, BUT ...
What do you think about swearing to Adonnis? My reasoning? We have ALL worked very hard on the mansion, all the portal devices, all the items for a guild, all the money, writs, items for arrows, armor, weapons .. all of it. We would be able to keep the mansion, keep all the items, keep all the bodies intact in basements all over Dereth (lol), but most importantly .. keep us all together as a family. It's clear you are ready to move on to another game, so instead of letting "our family" die off, this may be an alternative.
What do you think?
